01. The Company
Mecannabis specialises in growing Cannabis Sativa Linnaeus with an emphasis on sustainability and quality, cutting back on chemical inputs and promoting product traceability. Its mission is to produce high-quality cannabis in line with regulation, helping set a standard for the Italian cannabis industry.
02. Needs
Mecannabis came to Eu Web Agency for an e-commerce site to widen its market and reach a larger audience through online sales.
It also needed a system to automate the shipping process along with the required certifications and guarantees, this being a heavily regulated field.
03. Solutions
We built a complete e-commerce store that lets Mecannabis sell its products online securely.
The visual design was a crucial decision. We delivered a smooth user experience with an intuitive layout, visual clarity and high-quality product photography.
On top of that we created an interface for managing shipments directly with the courier, so Mecannabis can automate dispatch and have it handled alongside the sale itself. The integration with the courier (“Mailbox”) makes shipping logistics considerably simpler.
Given Italy’s strict laws on growing and selling cannabis, we worked to keep the site firmly within current regulation. That includes customer age verification and legal compliance throughout.
